Contrary to popular belief, not everything in Houston is big. In fact, some of its best places to visit are smaller, off the beaten track places. Here are some places you should visit when you travel by charter bus, party bus, shuttle bus or coach charter to Houston, Texas.
For a taste of America in the early 1900s, make your way to Old Town Spring in North Houston where you can enjoy a nostalgic walk through a 19th century frontier town when you get off the charter bus. And browse through the many Victorian-style antique shops, restaurants, and museums. If you choose to spend the night, there are two hotels and an RV resort to choose from.
If you want to get away from it all, then head over to Memorial Park. This 1,500 acre wooded park is a favorite amongst joggers, features tennis courts, playing fields, a fitness center, swimming pool and six miles of mountain and recreational bike trails along the bayous. After your trip, simply walk back and sit comfortably in the rented party bus – that is the luxury of using a rented bus service.
For those of you feeling less energetic but still want to view something nice, you might want to consider visiting the Menil Collection. On display are the privately assembled art collection of Houston philanthropists John and Dominique de Menil which includes over 15,000 paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings, photographs, and rare books from Yves Tanguy, René Magritte, Max Ernst, Man Ray, Marcel Duchamp, Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso among others.
Move on from here in the bus charter vehicle to the Museum District, where you can visit a collection of museums, galleries, and cultural centers located within a 1.5 mile radius of Herman Park. Here, you can visit the Bayou Bend Collection at The Museum of Fine Arts; Houston’s first and only 4D theater at the John P. McGovern Health Museum; the Holocaust Museum; the Houston Center for Photography, and the Lawndale Art Center.
Last but not least, for shopping, nothing compares to Texas’s largest mall, The Galleria Houston, with two separate Westin hotels, an upscale shopping mall centrally located just outside the 610 loop in Houston’s Uptown District. You can get to the middle of The retail center in your party bus, charter bus or mini bus which is anchored by Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue, and high-end tenants as Tiffany and Co., Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Yves Saint Laurent are but some of their tenants.
With all this and more, there’s so much to
explore around Houston by party bus, shuttle bus service or mini bus so book your ticket today. We look for ward to seeing you.
